The company was established in 1986 by a former Marine Underwriter having worked over 28 years in Marine Insurance underwriting. The Marine branch containing some aspects of quite a number of other insurance branches he was able to collect a lot of information over his professional carreer. He did develope our first insurance system versions during nights and weekends for the very need of the agency he was managing at that time and from his wish to properly manage his own insurance activity. He then joined a large european insurance group where he adjusted the same insurance system to company needs. They are still using that system today to manage their Marine branch.
That individual is still presently in charge of our company.
Our PYRITES software for the insurance industry originates directly from those early versions and have greatly benefited since then from advice and suggestions from our major customers.
